Meet Monica Duffy
Welcome. Thank you for taking the time to explore my services. I have had the pleasure of working as a Social Worker/Psychotherapist for 30 plus years after completing Undergraduate Degrees in both Psychology (Brock University 1988) and Social Work (McMaster University 1992) followed by a Graduate Degree in clinical Social Work -MSW (University of Toronto 2001).
I have specialized training and certificates in eating disorders and mental health from the University Health Network, McMaster Children’s Hospital and educational institutions.
I have been in private practice since 2011 and have spent the past decades working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, divorce and grief while also supporting youth dealing with eating disorders, body image challenges anxiety, depression, OCD and self harm.
I am passionate about providing a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental safe space for my clients, allowing them to express themselves freely and explore their feelings. I will approach our sessions with kindness, curiosity, and compassion. I work from Aquility Clinic in Port Credit, Mississauga, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
